    MG 42 MP40 help

Hello all, I am trying to find a source for live mG42 and MP 40 or similar, I need to be able to buy from a dealer or individual who is able to export to New Zealand. I have a current import permit and need to find the people who are able to export with the least ammount of hassle.I know its never easy but at least in some places its possiable : ) I have been advised that europe or UK is the place to look so if you have any recomendations as to where to go I would be pleased to hear them.
    Regards

    Sir,

I suggest you use Marstar. Their are many people in Europe who deal in live MG42's and to a lesser degree (because of rarity) MP40's but the problem your going to have is that people often don't want to get involved with exporting because of the paperwork.

Try this firm in Canada. http://www.marstar.ca/fullauto/G-MG-42.htm

They have real German MG42's which in itself is no mean feet these days, and Marstar export all over the world, they are not afraid of export paperwork and know what they are doing.

    Regards Craig.

      Gidday Andrew,
It is very impossible to import machine gun from Europe to NZ, for example, I bought many mauser rifles from a same dealer in Denmark, I was fortune to buy an all matching MP38 from him last year. I sent him the money and the import licence within a months he got the export licence from the local authority, however we had to call off the deal after 9 months because none of the courier company over his side want to ship the MP38 to NZ. So we swap 2 more mausers instead. Good luck for your search.
      Cheers
      Mike

        one down.

Thanks guys for the info, Marstar is an avenue i have been looking at but at this point they are unable to get anything to this part of the world...very frustrating. Had a MG34 come from europe last year so it may not be entirely impossiable . just a matter of knowing what hoops to jump through I guess... still require a source for MG42 I managed to secure the MP40 locally and at a very friendly price so that was my christmas present to myself.
