    Gary,
I don't think its for a mg34, could you open it and show some of the items unpacked... that would really help.

                    Fett!

                    Gary,
If I read the writing on the container right it say's "Fett", that means grease/fat in German. This looks like nothing I have ever seen for a German MG.
Of note is the brass fitting and possible pump or pressure fitting?
Could this be items used for the loading of a Flame thrower, yes I know that was a long shot.
If this is for a MG you've got me and I'll buy ya a beer!
                    Robert,
PS. I still have that box of SS items, if you send me you're email address I will send you pic's of some ss buckles etc.

                      Robert,
thanks for your reply, when I said mg I was only guessing I have not got a clue really, the little ammo box type tin sent me down the wrong track I guess.

I guess I might get more clues when the box arrives, which will be a while,
                      cheers,
                      Gary

                        Mg Gear

                        Hi Gary
I agree with Robert this kit does not look mg at all . It may be a specialist motor kit. Looking a the mg 08, 13 ,15, 34. 42, and all the other czech , yogo, Wehmacht used Mgs it differs from any known armourers tool kit.
But to me that makes it even more intresting, lets hope someone can tell us because if it cant be solved on this forum I dont Know were it can !!!!

What is very interesting is the very live looking french 75mm fuse in there.... things that may go "bang" in the night.
