Mauser .22 trainer

This is being sold locally as a Mauser .22 trainer, did the Germans have such a thing during the war? I haven't seen it in hand yet so i don't know if it's Nazi proofed.

Yes that is a Nazi era trainer. Patterned after the DSM-34. I can't tell from the photos but it appears to be a BSW.
