I've gotten a lot of help from this forum in the past, so here's another challenge.
I inherited a bcd 43. It had been bubbafied by filling in the stock slot and disk holes, but I was able to restore the stock 100%. It has a laminated handguard, but the stock appears to be walnut or something similar. I've since located two markings on the stock:
On the right side of the butt between the disk and cupped plate there is an 8 pointed star with lettering under it. I can only make out the last characters, A135.
On the underside between the grip and trigger guard there is an eagle similar to the receiver stamp.
I bought two disassembly disks for a k98 and they are smaller than the recess on this stock.
I've been told that the stock isn't correct for the rifle and I'm wondering if this is true. Can anyone shed some light on this?
