What did the BATF require as far as paperwork and tax?

This is a truely wonderful piece and I have never seen photos of a finer example.

Hey Guys.

Thanks for the compliments.
It was the same thing for a MG transfer; same paperwork and fees.
It was worth it not to have one with the guts cut out of it, or be
welded-all up....
This one is in it's "natural state", and can be examined as such, to understand everything about it...how loose or tight the rounds fit, how
to actually load it, work the firing mechanism,etc.
Everything but actually fire the dang thing !!!
I would not really want to fire one, b/c it looks like an unpleasant
experience..
(Okay, I lied here..maybe just ONE round, just to say I did it... )
