hi i am a novice with guns and was wondering if anyone has advice on a astra 903 and if the claim that it is a nazi issued one is true .....is there any stamps that i can verify this with ..thanks ..........matt

A small number of Astra 900 pistols (1050 pistols) were issued to Wehrmacht. These guns are identified only by the serial number range (no WaA stamps):
29555 to 29600
29649 to 29650
29655 to 29660
29667 to 29675
32788 to 33774
(According to Jan Still's "Axis Pistols", p.120).
I didn't find anything regarding the Astra 903 pistol...

Hello, 1,004 Astra 903's were delivered on 11/26/40, and 1,000 Astra 903's were delivered on 03/23/43. This according to L. Antaris terrific book on Astra Automatic pistols.Comment
