K-98K tips (trade)

Someone I know wants to trade me his K-98K for one of my photo albums, (I have a Luftwaffe Officers album with the Officer's WW1 and WW2 pics along with nice technical photos and has a shot of FM Kesserling up to 1941, probably KIA that year. keeper, then the other two I have are an black Heer ablum with the Stalhelm which contains a pass to Paris and Eastern Front Photos, and a Luftwaffe ground crew album with aircraft and truck photos. (ablum is black with a metal HE-111 at the bottom corner.)

He says its a 1940 made date, I know I need to watch out for mismatched numbers, and its a good chance this is a Vet bring back.

I will consider it once I see its in good shape with a minimum of rust, made either by Mauser (S code) or Steyr (BNZ).

Don't get me wrong, I really, really love Mausers, but I think that your photo albums would be more valuable than a 1940 Kar98. Just my opinion.

Keep the album and save for a K98!!!

I was only going to part with only one of them, I think the one with the HE-111 cost me $300.00.
