    Advise On C/96 Stock Rig

    Hi All,
i was wondering if members would like to give me some advise on the value of a nice 1916 dated C/96 Rig i have .. i am thinking of possibly selling it and since it has been so many years since i sold anything like this i am now way out of touch with values ..

the Stock Rig is complete including a spare magazine follower housed in the little leather holder .. the Stock originally came with a Flat Side Large Ring Hammer Pistol but i have been told that the stock is for a small ring pistol ?? i would appreciate your thoughts ..

    Cheers
    Paul l k.

These are hard to put a value on as they come up so infrequentely. Did you check and make sure the mounting iron is still there?

I would be interested in seeing the markings on the reverse of the leather carrier. Also, its a good idea to use saddle soap to keep the leather supple. Once rot sets in, its irreversable.

This appears to be a very nice item.

                              Nice, Nice Rig, Paul.
I just wish I could help you on the pricing thing. I've got a couple myself, and don't have a clue. However if I were guessing, which I confess to, I would'nt consider selling mine for less than $500. But then, what would I do with the Red 9 that's in it??
