1934 Model Mauser, Holster and two Magazines.

Hello All:

Please help in determining value of a 1934 Mauser Pistol

Excellent Holster, no marks.

The only issue is the fact this gun was bead blasted and parkerized because of rust. Hey, I know it was not the thing to do but it was done years ago. Very nice gun, carried as a hide out piece while a Sheriff. I have owned it since the mid 1960's.. Fired very rarely. My question is how detrimental is the fact it was parkerized and is now a black color rather than blue. Very nice Kriegs Marking and Swaz.

Any idea on the time frame it was made by the serial number?? Anyway to possibly trace ownership to WWII owner??

A close up picture of the area of the KM stamp would be helpful but from that distance it sure looks like the KM stamp was applied after the bead blasting.

Welp, you removed the collectable value of a collectable piece.
KM stuff is desireable.

Any refinish is a killer of value.

As a rig, mebbe $300 or so.
I know that in the 60s this was not a big deal.
Different today.

Thanks for the information.. The KM mark was on the gun when I got it in the mid sixties. I stored it away in the Holster. Know better now. The gun was parkerized in the seventies.. In the 60's this was not a expensive gun. Also this TR Hobby was not like it is today. Just wanted to make the point that the KM mark was on it originally.
