Any owners of genuine MP40 Mag. pouches here?

I'd be very thankful if there are any owners of genuine WWII German made MP40 magazine pouches who'd be so kind and post pictures of their pouches.

I've looked into some of the old threads on MP40 magazine pouches but I still don't feel confident enough to judge a pouch for sale on the internet.

Information regarding originality seems very hard to find!?


I've noticed that the stiching can tell if I'm looking at an original or a repro. What other details can reveal a repro over a genuine?

Does anyone know how many different makers there were? Or at least the most common?

How does the webbing material feel? Is it soft or relatively stiff like that of a Garand ammo belt for example?
