walther pp stripdown advice needed.

hi guy's,
can anyone tell me how to strip my newly aquired pp ? it is an "old spec" deac, also can anyone tell me where to get some deac or dummy ammo in the UK.

Remove magazine, pull trigger guard down, draw slide to the rear then up and off to the front.

damn, is there anything you guys are allowed to have that don't have to be deactivated?

does not make sense because if all the guns have to be deactivated, then why does the ammo have to be?

Unfortunately the british gun ban hasn't helped on gun crime But that's the old saying; Outlaw guns & only outlaws will have guns.... Sorry a bit offtopic.

Regarding the PP it's a fine little pistol that's very simple to field strip.
