    German holster for FN Hi-Power

    I got this today at a local gun show. I paid $10.00 for it thinking I was buying a cheap repro holster to stick my reblued P-38 shooter in. When I got home and checked my references it became apparent that it was most likely an original holster for a Belgian FN Browning Hi-Power 9mm Pistole 640(b). Any thoughts?

    The WaAmt for the ewx manufacturer (ranz und Karl Voegels, Lederwarenfabrik, Wollkücke 20/24, Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen) shoud be:

    195 (from 1942 to 1944) or 234 or 300 or 337 or 367 or 387.

    Or yours seems to be 138 or 188 ... so there is something strange...

    It's just my 'little' remark..

      I consulted another member of the National Automatic Pistol Collector's Association regarding your holster. Yours is a reproduction including the markings. The maker code indicated never produced holsters for the Hi-Power. So it would be suitable for reenactment.

        Thanks for the info. When did they make those repros? This thing shows genuine age throughout.
