Post some pics of the group it makes. Is this the first time you have shot a Mauser, or any gun?

      No. I own a Ruger 10-22, K31, M1 Carbine, 2 other .22LR and a CZ-75B.I've fired a Mauser a few times in 8x57 and 8x60S, a .38, .357, .444,......
The grouping depends not only on the weapon but also on the person who shoots it...
Pics will be for next week. Not into shooting now but I'll send them to you if you want, scoped and unscoped.

      Cheers

The Ruger 10-22 is a very fun plinker, but they are trying to ban them here in the US.

          Kar98k sniper rifle

          Hi,
Apologies for being slightly off-track but still on a sniper theme.
Can anyone out there tell me how the Kar98k fitted with the Zf41 was zeroed in?
You have elevation adjustment in the scope itself but the mount on the rifle is integral with the rear-sight mount and there's no adjustment that I'm aware of in the scope mount. Does it rely on the rifle's mount being machined parallel with the bore?
This has puzzled me for some time.
Also on this theme I have read that those Zf41 mounts (now reproduced) that replace the original sight base were never actually fitted wartime.
Hope you don't mind my going off-topic a bit.
          Regards,
          Phil

The 10-22 has a mag capacity over 10, and it has a threaded barrel. Statement backed up, now what.
