              Hi - thanks for sharing.
I like the magazine very much !! Very nice & unusual. Double markings :
              MKb42 + MP43 stampings - very interesting that one !!

The trigger housing pivot pin looks welded solid, hence my assumption for "new spec".

                    hi

glad it is not a new spec, is an old spec, still didnt do a very good job doing it either which is a shame, not matching no's either, I think this one came from Yugoslavia

Old spec is still way better than new spec, a new spec MP43/1 deact would have broken my heart. Back in 1993 I was offered an almost identical one at Regimentals (when they still had the shop in Islington) for 330£ ...*sigh* They told me that someone from the IWM had been in and bought one (they had several) as the IWM didn't have one. About a month later I was offered a 50£ discount on a handsome couple (an MP44 and a StG44) by another dealer if I took both ... for 550£ . Need I say I passed both deals up ... *deep sigh*. 1993, a year that will live in infamy by my stupidity!

                        Hi There

Nice rifle! MP43/1 too, which is a bit rarer, having the longer foresight block & longer muzzle nut. I see the stock pin is missing & no recoil spring. Are these just out for the pic, missing or ............

                        Anyway, a nice rifle!!

BTW is the scope rail "notched" on the right hand side?

Examine the stock and try to find something like "TRM#" (where # is a digit). TRM stands for "Tehnicki Remontni Zavod", yugo factories which prepared lots of MP44s for long-term storage.

                            hello

no notch in the scope rail, you can see where it is filled in on the stamper
have the rest of the internal bits and the but pin. good spot!
