    Wss?

Hello to all, excuse my english,
I have not understood well all what you have written to me unfortunately.
I do not know null on the codes or the German guns, I know only that one little that I have read on Internet.
But I think this theory because this rifle was really of the WSS soldier.
This Tarnjacke was his, both the two objects were taken to the same soldier.
One other different hypothesis remains that one that the soldier was of the Whermacht and that but he wore one tarnjacke wSS.
According to you Is more possible the first or second hypothesis?
I thinck that the rifle was of the WSS and I Don't think that the tarnjacke was of the Whernacht soldier!
But this only one my idea, why the objects as they were used therefore are survivors, for work of a partisan.
I continue but to hope that one studious of you finds a book on which this code is deciphered.
I sooner or later hope that someone historian and student confirmations my idea, in my case supported from the historical recovery.
Unfortunately still they are not enrolled like member and therefore I cannot insert the images.
I have sent the photos to Bryan Brown I hope that it can insert to them in the topic of me, if he will be able to make it I thanck he a lot already from now.

      Hi celtico ,
It's a normal k98 with an unknow barrel production code to me.
The unknow symbol is only a factory logo.
Probably this factory supplied barrels for steyer's k98s.
This not mean that is an SS-rifle.
Any SS-Waffenamt?Any other marks on the receiver?
If it was found with an SS-tarnjacke could be used by an SS-man...But it isn't an SS-k98...

I am an helmets collector....If I find an M42 helmet without decal with an SS uniform...How I can say that is an SS-helmet?
