Before I put this up on the estand, I just wanted to make sure it is what it is and what the value might actually be. It appears to be for a .45 1911 pistol, am I correct? Thanks in advance!

Your holster is a nice M3 Boyt holster for the 1911/1911A1 pistol. These were made by Boyt, Enger-Kress, and Sears Saddlery. Boyt also made one VERY similar for the S&W Victory/Colt Commando revolver but the stitching is different allowing the revolver/cylinder to enter the holster....yours is for the 1911/1911A1 pistol. The M7 was very close to the same design, but had another strap that went across the chest.
Prices vary by maker, marks and date (if dated). I estimate yours to be a $75 - $90 holster. I've seen them sell for more, but usually the condition is "less used" than yours. (My neighbor recently sold a nearly new one on ebay for $150.)
