Ardennes, Appears to be an M-1910 U.S. entrenching tool (T- handled shovel) sitting to your left......Should bring that home as well, as it appears to be in pretty nice shape Bodes

What about the bag sitting behind and to his right? It appears to have a picture of a spotted Totenkat on it but I cant identify the bag. Oh and thanks for pictures of the faust,, you had to be very excited!!!!

Hi U-96 ! I used to find a lot in our region, especially between 1970 & 1990 - nowadays almost nothing is left - or too rusty
I was very successful during that period, today........seldom.

                          Hi happy maca,
did you buy the Panzerfausts in Europe ? They have been restored as I can see from your pic. Did you do this yourself or did they come like this ?
I dug up a whole Panzerschreck & 1 round for it - I'll try to post the pictures soon

                          Kind regards,

                          Fern

                            Hi bodes !
yes, it is my best working tool - it is a surplus, postwar shovel - wouldn't use the WWII ones of course. In addition I use a postwas US folding shovel or sometimes even a small excavator (mini-Caterpillar) depending on the location, depth & size of the object discovered.
