P38 - a good deal?

Hello - I've been offered this P38 and I'm looking to buy this if nothing's wrong with it - numbers are matching, shows wear, but I don't care, does anyone have any concerns about this one? Where can I find a rough price guide for the P38s?

Where exactly are you buying it and is it functional?

In the USA that would sell in the $375-$450 range, I would think, depending on bore but because of border prohibitions on the transport of guns local markets can have very different valuations.

Buying in the U.S.,fully functional, barrell looks okay, it's just well worn. It wouldn't leave the country. Thanks a lot!

That's abnormal wear on the front exterior of the slide. I'd study that area closely.
