I was told that this is a Walther made in 1932 for the Olympic games? It is a 22cal LR, and is marked "ODIN ALEXANDRIA, VA".

Interarms, which was a large importer of German pistiols was located in Alexandria Va for many years until they closed. Perhaps Odin was a predecessor to that firm.

It is definitely prewar as Thuringia was the location of the factory until 1945.
