when i was younger i read about an incident where a gi had an armed standoff with a russian in hitlers bunker over a find of a gold plated ppk im sure there was a picture along with the story, was it true? if so where is it now? what about the rest of his gear......

I am sure Hitler's bunker was well picked over before any G.I.s ever got there.
