Thanks everyone for your input, I appreciate the feedback. As for the ammo, one box is still sealed and the other one that is opened, still has the original ammo inside. The head stamp has a 41...dnh...a star, and a number 1.

Interesting that you mentioned ammo, I have a couple dozen boxes of 9mm of different types, mostly sealed unopened, and dated 1944 & 1945. Is there quite a market for german 9mm?

      Hi,

I have a couple of hundred boxes on my web site for sale and I take some to the gun shows where I set up. Sales are slow. There are a few people who like ammo but not many, it seems. If you are interested in selling some or all of your 9mm boxes, I would like to discuss it with you. I am always looking for unusual markings.

      Regards, Leon

The holster looks lovely!! However, I do agree with Leon, that the front looks like it has been polished at one time, since the threads are black on the front and nice and white on the reverse. But it's still a lovely holster. Easily a $250-$300 holster!

As for the gun, is that the original finish on it? It looks to me like it is a flat matte blue finish. It should have a very high polish finish that really shines. Also, is the magazine(s) matching?

          Matt,
I most likely is the oil on the gun that gives it the matte appearance, but it has a high polish blued finish. The holster does look as though it was polished at one time, but not bad as the stitching although not the same tone as the back, does appear white on the front.
Sadly, the magazine is in the 6000 range, but still "B" block as is the gun.
