YES this Flare Pistol is a 'Z' Gun.. Used to fire smoke, HE, etc.. Called the 'Kampfpistol' The HE round is the (Wurfgranatpatrone 326) High Explosive Grenade 326...Manufacture of the Pistol is Erma in 1940... The round was not a rocket but of a conventional design...BILL
