Interesting Japanese rifle

I just got this early no series T-38 the other day. It's mum'd and totally matching including the dust cover. All the parts are matched to the assembly number. The guy I got it from bought it off a Vet. He said the Vet has the paperwork but can't recall where it is but will keep looking for it. I had posted the gun on the gunboards Japanese forum and apparently it is a fairly scarce gun being early and completely matching, Ray

That is a very nice piece. Very hard to find them complete like that. Stay after him about the paperwork. That would really enhance the group.

Good looking group Ray! Like Roscoe says, nice matching ones like that are hard to come by. Thanks for showing. I like the lettering on the bayonet scabbard.

Great Find Ray!!! I like the markings on the bayonet! Also complete with sling as well, and all matched, that is a good find!
