Thank you for your knowledgable reply. Yes, I have many questions too. The frame is in the "h" block. Sorry my photos are not that clear. It is a paradox, in that there is very little info that I can find on those early Nazi guns. All I can find is in Kenyon's that referrs to these earlier guns were mostly sent to "paramilitary" organizations.

The marking E25 and lion is a CZ marking.
It's the first time I see 'm on a Luger.

I would suggest that you post your Banner on Jan C Still's Luger forum on gunboards.com. The Luger experts their will answer your questions on this one. I too have questions on this one. But not well versed enough on Banners.
