Hi Robert,

No the 42 is not a mtching MG. In fact the top cover latch is completely missing(this is what rendered the weapon inop in the first place) and that is how it ended up being captured. No idea how it happened. There is no obvious damage to it.

that is a very intresting gun looks as if it had been lying around a while though befor being picked up nice to see it survived.
