this guy wants 2,000 dollars for a 65 dollar book.

i'm so desperate for it, but no funds like that.

well, according to some sellers on amazon, people have paid up to 600 dollars for it. when i called jan still to ask how i could get one, he said that he was kinda pissed that dealers where asking that kind of money and he told me he's gonna get more printed this year. he says printing cost alot of money, but i aksed, well if there is such a high deman for the book, publishers should be banging down his door to publish it and make money,

could i borrow a copy, then scan it, then give jan 65 dollars(his retail price), I'm not going to do this unless he says yes.

i am trying to get a copy on library loan and university of texas is the only library with it, and it is already on loan...

I want a copy of Cox on the TSMG and Pender on Mauser pocket pistols while you are running the Xerox machine. I was lucky enough to get the set of Jan's books before the madness. One of his Luger books sells for about as much as the Axis Pistols book. It is a great book but if somebody spends $2000 they more money than they need.

I won't copy anything. but i'd like for him to sell his book as an E book. he wouldn't have to front any money for printing and he would make immediate sales.

I would pay 65.00 for the book, It seems like a fare price fro that much info. Its a shame people scalping a book for that kinda money.

If anyone wants one now, I have one I bought a few years ago at a local gun show that I will sell. My wife keeps putting in the cabinet with all of my gun books. Mint condition. I paid just a bit over a $125 for mine and will sell it for what I paid if anyone needs it. Shipping is $8. Let me know.

You might call Jan and ask if you can Xerox it is you miss this one. I called him once with a question and he is a great guy. I once called JP Barnett and asked if he was was going to reprint his book on Lyle Guns. He said they sold out so he sent me his personal copy, told me to read it, Xerox it and then return it when I was finished. When they were reprinted he sent me a copy and then I paid him. It is also a great book/guy.
