New PP

Went into a local gunshop to browse(mistake!) and found this PP. I think I did OK.
It has 95% of the finish and the bore is sharp. It is wa359 marked and has the eagles on the slide and barel. It is serial #ed on the frame and slide with the # 3070XXP. The slide markings appear to be almost etched and do not appear to have ever been stamped.It came with 3 clips, two postwar Walther,one in stainless and an after market clip.The guy at the shop said to " go out and shoot the s**t out of it"..LOL I think I will let it stay in the safe.
Now to get a correct mag and holster!

Was informed by the good folks at the P38/PP forum that the red grips are rare! I guess I did get lucky...LOL

The reddish 'OX Blood' grips are rather scarce... Nice find...BILL

Very nice Walther, I agree this is one to clean and properly store in the safe. I think I would visit that gun shop a little more often!

Tom,
Spend the extra money and buy a nice war-time flat bottomed magazine for it. You will get the extra cost (probably under $100) back if you ever sell the gun. This pistol is too nice to have that ugly clip in it.

Holster and mag are in the plans. Although I don't plan on selling it anytime soon, I don't think that I will have any problem making my money back when I do.
