very nice, i just bought a repro mp40 sling with markings for ******163;15, but only for my airsoft mp40.... i have to stare lovingly at the one in my local militaria shop.

Nice looking german weapons. There are plenty of repro slings out there for the MP40, just try your favorite search engine. If you still cant find any in a day or two post again and I'll get a link or two for you. Thanks for posting the pics!

Of course, an original sling would be better, but if price/availability are obstacles at this time, there's nothing wrong with spending less money on a repro, to use temporarily.Comment

The MP40 is one part of my set that I'm missing - got the P38, K98, MG34 (x2 for some reason!) and me MP44 but no MP40...one day I guess...one day...and after that is the MG42 and P08...yikes!! I'll be forever skint....
