    E/655 Mauser HSc

I thought that I would post my Mauser HSc. This has been posted on another thread, but I thought that I would post more close up shots of this pistol. It is waffenampted with an eagle/655 and is serial numbered 73596X. The blueing has been pretty much worn, and as you can see, there is a chip on one of the grips.

Here is a closer view of the slide, and of the waffenampt on the trigger guard.

The right side of the pistol. On the slide and trigger guard are the nitro proof marks of a Nazi style eagle over N.

I like the worn look more than the minty look, because you can connect with it more, it has the been there look, not the "I sat in a box covered with cosmoline until I was brought to America" look.

            Couldn't say it better!

Thank you for your kind words, guys! I've had this pistol in my collection for a couple of years, and I have not even taken it out to the range yet. Most of my shooting irons are my Beretta M92 and Makarovs.

Now that I've got the M1 carbine out of layaway, I'm going to start looking for a decent Gewehr 98 or a C96 Mauser.

Very nice! I always thought of the Mauser HSc, as the "sexiest" small SLP ever made!

The curves on the backstrap, remind me of Maye West herself!!

Shoot me a PM and I can point you in the direction of a battle damaged G98.
