              FN HP spare magazine pouch.

              Hello,

I have recently bought mysterious, leather pouch. It is 1935 dated and I think it could be pouch for spare magazine, for HP. I am curious if there was such a thing at all. If so, can anyone post a picture of such pouch?

                Hello,

                Such a pouch exists.
The German army re-used former Belgian army examples.
I have one in my collection, sorry I have images of it but I don't know how to post them.
But a 1935 mark is very earl and very rarely seen. The earliest marking I have seen on a original example was 1937, if you see original ones most of them ar marked 1939 or 1938. But most likely they should have been marked from 1935 untill 1940.
PZO give me your email and I'll send you images.

                Cheers,
                Peter

This holster was converted by the Germans from the pre-war Belgian combo holster.

(The cleaning rod is not Belgian, even though it came with the holster.)
