Hello, I recently purchased this German pouch which I believe carried automatic weapon magazines. It is about 7 1/2" wide and 7" tall with each compartment being 3 1/2" in width. Each compartment would hold a magazine approximately 1" thick. It is black pebbled leather with a smooth leather interior with two sections and is Vienna marked on the back with a "STOLLA" maker ID. It is also "GES. GESCH" stamped. There is a small ink-stamped box under one flap with "HBA" and other unreadable letters or numbers. I have been unable to locate any information or photos of this type pouch. If anyone can help ID this pouch, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks for your help.

Yugo M48 connection doubtful
I appreciate your response, Josh. I'm not sure the Yugo M48 connection works though, simply because the stripper clips wouldn't appear to work in this pouch and the dimensions aren't close. The wear pattern on the inside at the top fold of the flaps indicate a single solid metal rubbing from something that is around 6 1/2" in height....maybe the G43 is a possibility, although every one I can find a photo of is a single pouch and not a double. At any rate, thanks again for the suggestions.
By the way, wouldn't the "GES. GESCH" stamping lean towards paramilitary or political use and not general military issue?

Pouch ID
Thanks, Ade....your link led me right to it!
I knew that my 30+ years in German militaria had never turned one of these up.
As it turned out, the listed price is close to what I paid for it...$5.
At least I didn't LOSE any money!
I appreciate everyone who sent in and idea about the ID and thanks again, Ade.
