Zielvier scope diameter?

Hi

I am thinking of building a german K98k repro sniper rifle, maybe with a original ZF39 zielvier scope and a repro mount, but as I understand there is different repro scopes and mounts out there, with different diameter for the mount? Since I don't want to buy a mount which will not fit an original scope, I need to know the diameter of the original zielvier scopes.

This is true
The germam WWII sniper scope have not standard diameter
so that it is very difficult to adjust actual repro mounts with original scope without modifications
Diameters exemples taked on my scopes
1- ZF39 Zeiss Zielvier scope: 26,5 mm (original mounts reichwehr mount, low or hight turret mounts )
2- bmj (Hensoldt) scope : 26,8mm (the most standard) with original mounts: low or hight turret mount, short side rail mount and bnz single claw mount.
3- dkl (Schneider Kreuznach) late scope : 27 mm with long side rail mount
