    Winter Trigger

    Hi,
    I have had this winter trigger for years and i don't know what to think about it? what do you Folks thinks is it real ore is it a repro?.
    Please let me know.

          It looks real to me, looks too used to be a fake and since you have had it for years it may be of pre repro days. Wish I had it!!

            See if you can physically attach it to a K98's trigger guard. There is a guy who has been making these for a few years now and is a master machinist, and he makes them just a hair too small to actually be attached to a trigger guard. Same markings, finish, etc.

              Gene i have fitted it to a trigger guard and it was a perfect fit I will take some picture tomorrow in daylight an post them.

                I remember when these showed up in 1987.. And were for sale by Globe Militaria out of NJ for 100 dollars each..and he had around 50 of them because I called and ordered 5.....Over the years speculators said that the 'S' was a german code for Alfred Nobel which it is..But not on this Winter Trigger...The person at Globe said laster on that they were post war Czech. issue.. Which they could be..but the post war Czech. 98k style and rebuilt rifles had a trigger guard which was over sized to be used with a gloved hand...Around 2001 I was told that they were made in England during the middle 1980s...So who knows???????
