if you can buy it for 650 or less its a deal. i am assuming the various numbers on the gun match each others. whats the bore look like. withoput a good bore its a wall hanger. grips in good shape? i think 42s are pretty common. i think mione is a 42 and one iof the more common ones is it waffen stamped?

If all matching less magazine, 650 is a deal. Luger prices are nuts.
You got a real holster but who knows where those dates came from.
SS is probably bogus.
A bad bore does not make it a wall hanger, it's a pistol, for one thing.
I've had lugers with barrels you coud barely see through that were fine shooters. Maybe not olympic quality, but good enough for me.
I got a groundhog at 50 yds with one that was nearly a smoothbore.
A lot of guys would part out a piece in this shape, not me.
Auction arms or gunbroker is where you want to sell this.
You'll be surprised. but post a warning about the ss stamp.

sorry for my english, I know that the luger holster with the belt loops in vertical position was used by the police of East Germany (VoPo). Instead during the wwii the belt loops was in oblique position. Maybe your holster is original wwii but reworked.

The SS mark on the subject holster is bogus. A WaA proof marking in combination with such an SS marking is a certain indicator of fraud. These problems may also speak to authenticity issues on the P08.

I have a WW one era holster and a date of 1914 is stamped inside the flap, very hard to find, but look closely. This is a WW one era holster.
That said, isn't it possible for the holster to have been re-instated for WW two?

WW I Luger holsters that were reissued were not remarked/stamped with new dates or Nazi acceptance stamps. This is a early version of a Luger holster that "somebody" stamped in the date and the SS marking.

This holster could be a commerical and therefor it would likely not be dated when it was made.

SS marked Luger holsters are bogus. Some uninformed folks will pay a much higher price for SS marked equipment, that is why it is so attrtactive to the counterfiter.

This holster has been tampered with.

The holster is a WWI era piece. The markings on the inside of the holster are the original markings. All the markings on the back of the holster are bogus! Also it looks like the closure flap is a replacement, and also appears that one belt loop has also been replaced.
Since the holster has been "hopped" up, I would probably stay away from it completely.

As for the gun, need much more photos! It's a "42" code Mauser, but you haven't even shown the date!?!? Also, everything on that luger should be serial numbered to match. Not enough photos to tell.
