cool here in fla, maybe 40s on saturday. my son and i are going shooting at the local county maintained range.( no charge) . my fellow employee artie is going and my sons best friend( who's wife is at her baby shower), and my sons bosses son and my best friend across the street. we will be taking all our favorite guns and there will be those that have never shot a 44 magnum, a k98 , a superposed , etc. between the two kids and myself we can put on a good show and we digital record the shooting and sounds. shotguns ,pistols , and rifles. then we go home and then have a few beers and watch the video of multiple clay pigeons missed or my son(proud pop) who can hand toss 5 clays and hit em all with the 67 browning light twenty. what a hoot . this is how god intended life to be. and there is also a gun show here in ocala this weekend and i don't have to go to the baby shower. Life is good . thought you guys and gals would enjoy. Pitts

My gun club fell apart because of a stupid lawsuit a couple of years ago. We started a new club but I haven't shot on it yet. Maybe this weekend.
I haven't set up at the range in over 8 months.

Nice looking range Norman.....Looks like some nice turn out for shooting events.
Our range has a rifle range up to 300 and a huge pistol and small bore range.
We're planning to try and cover the shooting ranges in the near future.....have to raise more money. I wish we had more than 300 meters for the rifle range but this area is pretty well developed and it's not easy finding places to shoot.
I notice that you have cowboy action shooting at your range....they have the same events at ours....I've never done it but it is fun to watch.

I live in out in the country on 7 acres of woods and one of the first things i did was put up my own shooting range. What a surprise I had when the pastor from my church asked if he could come over to shoot with us. He was a cop in Belfast before going into the ministry 25 years ago. He said he had not shot a gun since then. He loved the Lugers and he was fairly good with it to, WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME WITH IT. That is one of the great things about the U.S. is our freedom to own and shoot firearms. When i hear some of the members here talk about dewats and the restrictions they are faced with I realize just how luckly we are. Be careful and enjoy yourself. Frank v.Comment
