    HI guys - I need opinion about this wooden stock for p08
    the stock is without any lack or oil
    what do you think?

      To me, this looks like a WWII-era stock for the Canadian Inglis (sp?) copy of the Browning HP semi-auto pistol.

      I used to own one of these that, believe it or not, was given to me by an ATF agent who pulled it out of their evidence locker. The stock was not part of any investigation and was not listed on any inventory list. As the agent put it, "bad things are eventually going to happen to this stock (i.e. destruction), so you can have it for your collection."

        I would agree with Frank, that it is for a C96 Mauser. The Inglis stocks that I have seen have a more rectangular hole for the pistol grip area.

          Hi,

          I'm with Frank and Lyn: it is a stock-holster for a Mauser C96 Broomhandle pistol. It looks like a pre-World War I production piece.
