    For George(GWA)...Luger with history

    This was a gift from a neighbor. He recently wrote me a nice letter describing how he picked the pistol up.
    It's a mismatch and a funny one at that. Check out the numbers It's a great shooter.
    This is what I recommend folks to try to do if they find stuff directly from the vet...we all wonder "If these things could only talk!".

                    I like to think that often the actual history of the weapon is more important than matching numbers. Especially with the testimony of the vet that brought it back.
                    A "Restoration" would actually devalue the piece. In my humble opinion.

                    It is an interesting "mismatch" tho....
