Hi Larry, it is a 7.65mm Mauser M34. It was developed from the earlier M1914. Sometimes known as the "PM" after it's Police designation of "Pistole Mauser". Production run was not great. I have figures quoted for 8,000 for the Wehrmacht, 4,500 for the Police and a lesser unknown amount for the Para military. Well made as you would expect from Mauser, but other than that, not a brilliant weapon.

          Sorry no idea on value.

          Cheers, Ade.

When you decide how much you would like for it can I have the first opportunity to buy? Thanks

It's what collectors refer to as a Model 1914 Mauser....Really they are all 1910 pattern pistols with variations. The Mod. 1934 has a curved grip as opposed to the straight style that you have.
As to the value....in this condition and all matching I'd say around $350 to $400.

I agree with R. Blue. It's a Mauser M1914, and the SN is within the range for military use. On the top of the slide, behind the rear sight, there should be a commercial nitro proof, Crown over U.
If it was accepted by German ordnance, there will be a stamp in front of the rear sight, a Crown over a letter.

Mauser 'Wartime Commercial' 1914.. Produced during WW1 for commercial sales.. Some were taken into German Military service.. The German military accepance mark is on the slide in front of the rear sight...BILL
