    MP41 mag

    Hi

I have a mag that are marked with MP41.
Is this mag only for MP41 or could it be used in a MP40 as well?

Is there any value in this mag?

Hi Andy, the mag does have a value, but what it is I don't know! Sorry that is not much help. I would guess the same value as an MP40 mag?

The mag will fit an MP40. Bear in mind the MP41 is the action of an MP40 married to a wooden MP28 style stock.

      Cheers, Ade.

          MP41 Magazine

I find it very difficult to believe that a well-stamped MP41 magazine would be valued the same as an MP40 magazine!
Are we saying then that an MP41 would have the same value as an MP38 or MP40?

Hi Hochadler, as I mentioned in my reply, I don't know what these are fetching nowadays But I don't think here in the UK there would be a huge difference in price.

With respect, in regards to the guns themselves, I did not say that. Of course an MP41 is not the same value as an MP38 or MP40. In the UK an MP41 is valued at roughly half that of an MP40.

            Cheers, Ade.

              MP41 Magazine

              Ade:
The difference in the value of the magazines is interesting! Even more interesting is the apparent disparity between MP41 and MP40 values in the UK.
In the US, an original MP41 is generally to be found mainly in weapons museums...rarely in individual collections.
I obviously didn't factor the scarcity differences in the UK and the US for these SMG's and components!
              Best,
              Peter

                MP41 mag

                Hi guys

I have been on internet today and get some information about MP41.
I know now that those mags could be realy rare too find if you compare too MP40 mags.

I am not collecting any weapons so if anybody want to buy my MP41 mag just come with something.

                Regards

Yes, this mag will fit an MP40 as well. Since the MP41 is basically an MP40 mounted in a wooden stock, with selective fire.

As for value, it is not worth much. Both MP40 and MP41 mags are a dime a dozen these days.

As for the two guns themselves, there is not a whole lot of value difference there either. The reason being, is that there is a high demand for the MP40, so prices are high for it, even though it is more common. The MP41 is much less sought after, and therefore prices tend to be in the same range as the MP40.

My friend has a full functional MP41!
The really rare thing about my friends' MP41, is that is waffenampt, not police proofed, as most of them are!!! This means it was used by the military not police! Remember that famous photo of the German paratroopers on the King Tiger tank? One of them had an MP41!

                  Matt
