What do we know about a Walther .22 that looks like a K98? It it a trainer?
How old? Worth buying? [FONT="Times New Roman"

It's called a KKW and if all matching and in excellent condition it should be priced at or around 1,000$.

Its not complete-missing lower barrel band - and other than that it looks reasonable probably 90% blue numerous dings in the stock. A friend bought it for 25.00$. What should I buy if for +/-?

Finding a barrel band could be a tough proposition. Roscoe's price is right on for a really nice Walther KKW (Kleine Wehrsportgewehr). Since it's missing the band and and the wood is a little rough, I would think $450-$600. Any unit markings in the wood or metal? That would affect the value.
