    Canadian Ross Rifle

Just picked up a Canadian Ross 1905 rifle for 50$, the metal is in good shape, but the wood has been sporterized...... I'll get pictures up later, but was wondering if anyone knew of a possible source in the UK or Canada where I might get lucky for a restoration? I doubt if I'll have any luck in the US... Chris.... These sure are a "neat" rifle with the straight pull action.

    Hi Chris,

Yes they are pretty cool! Try Marstar in Canada. If they don't have it then keep a look out on Gunbroker.com as Ross stuff shows up from time to time.

    Cheers
    Gary

Spoke a bit too soon, it's a Ross M1910. Didn't even plan on buying it, and wasn't too interested until it came home, but got it in the deal for 50$, also picked up a Hakim for 95$, a FN49 for 95$, a Finnish Sako MN for 95$, and a British P14 for, yup you guessed it....95$. A very good day indeed. Chris....
