I don't know, but maybe it is possible that it also was used for MG.

The green paint around the cap on the bottom indicates that it is a Schweres Spitzgeschoß Patrone (heavy pointed bullet).

It is original German , that is in my opinion for sure!

these are labeled MG use. But so far I know, they used all sorts of ammo, and not only the ammo in boxes who where labeled for MG.

The top box is tracer for aircraft guns. It might be a little hotter that the other rounds. I have not shot any of it.

Aircraft mg ammo will have a -v- after the designation (example SmK -v-) and the rounds will have a green ring around the projectile. If it does not have the green ring it is not loaded any hotter than std ammo.
