Hi everyone!
I´m searching photos of this spanish gun (being used). I know it was sold to the Wehrmacht in a great amount, becoming appreciated by troops because of its quality ant excellent operation.

Hello,
I have the Astra pistols that are of German issue and the holsters.
I have never seen one with the "coin" type devise on the grips. I also have the German Star B pistol. I can provide you photo's of these if you would like.

OK, Robert, if you don´t mind I´d like to see them. Mainly, I´m interested in germans using them.
The photo I´ve posted is taken from a spanish website focusing on Civil War. I agree with you: this is a rather rare model.
I saw last weekend a friend´s Astra. It has a mint condition and a curious history. It belonged to a "Legionario" sergeant and he used it to kill a Italian soldier in Zaragoza (Spain) because a disagreement. Both were fighting on the same faction (Franco´s nationalist army). He was degradated and became a private. My friend got it 15 years ago.

I´d like to know the adress (URL) of this site about the Spanish Civil War. I myself own an Astra Royal Model 901, made in 1931, that might saw some action during those hard days.

WOW!

What a great thread.... With the links posted I was able to discover what these odd wooden handled tools were that I have. I now realize that I have "2" factory disassembly tools!
