    bcd G43

    Hi
Why do most non matching bcd G43 rifles come with a Walter receiver/bolt?
I have seen several bcd dug up in this configuration, so it must have been made during the war.
Is it related to the sabotage done to those rifles in Buchenwald? To improve their reliability in combat?

        Not offtopic at all
Those rifles were assembled from Gustloff made pieces at the concentration camp in Buchenwald and many pieces of those rifles were sabotaged by the workers.
        Now that is a fact

A friend of mine from France has two dug up early bcd's in the a and b block, and both have missmatched Walter bolts, so this must have been done before they bombed the camp.
I have also seen some bcd for sale, all matching except for the bolt, no letter block from very early 1944 and they also had a non matching Walther bolt
Does HG book say something about this?
