Even though it appears to be Waffen Amt'd on the side of the buttstock, I believe it was made postwar......Perhaps for either Yugoslavian or Israeli mausers.....Late wartime German stocks had a hole in the buttplate (in lieu of the takedown disk) and didn't have the "hotdog" shaped "finger"grooves in the side of the buttstock next to the recoil lug.....Also recoil lug appears blued.....Wartime were left in the white.....Bodes
