    New semi-auto copy of PPS-43

    Wow--I want one.

The site claims it isn't California legal although they're working on it.

Interesting, and undoubtedly fun, and also expensive. Keep in mind that for the SMG's the barrels have to be extended to 16" to comply with Federal law, so compared to an original, they will look a little odd.
But if you want one, have fun and enjoy! (also learn to reload! LOL)

The one shown in the pic has the original 10 inch barrel as Johnnie has pointed out the replica would look a bit different.

The original guns are a beautiful peice of design work and very reliable too.

      Cheers, Ade.

There is someone in Germany who rebuilds deactivated PPSh's with a new and slightly longer barrel and semi auto bolt. Legal in Germany.

Military Gun Supply is also manufacturing the semi-PPS43 in a pistol version, which features the correct length barrel, but the folding stock is permanently welded in the closed position.

Legally able to be owned by anyone with a pistol permit.

Not sure as to the California restrictions on that, though. I wouldn't think they'd be too keen on a pistol with a 35 round magazine...

I have seen the original for sale from time to time they run anywhere from 600.00 to 850.00.

I just picked up a semi auto build from MGS (pps-43) I heard bad things bad bad things lol blowing up and all. No problems yet put 70 rounds down range other than poor sight adjustments and being picky on ammo it did GREAT! Now anybody know or recommend good ammo for these rifles? It seemed to hate Yugo ammo in fact it would dent the primer really good and would not set the round off, unless I put it back into the gun the second time around. Polish did well I would say 1 every 10 rounds would misfire but it was made in 58....something with a better primer???
