    T.ST.V. Wehrmannsgewehr 98 mauser - oberndorf

    I just bought a wehrmannsgewehr 98 mauser with a crest on the front bridge. It is an eagle holding a wreath with a swastika. It is also marked "T.ST.V." There is a decal on the stock that reads "Standschutzenverband Tirol-Voralberg Landeshaupt Schießstand" with a " V/94 " in the center. Can anyone tell me what this decal might be for?

      no, I don't mind sharing the number ... This is my second one of these. I bought one from one of your forum members last year. This one is 20762 ... it is consecutive to one other that was reported last year but you didn't have the owners name as I recall. The other one I have (20853) has a decal from the 7th Landesschiessen in Innsbruck in 1944. The decal on this one is unknown to be. Especially the "V/94" that is in the center.
