It is going to be a difficult journey finding an all matching Mauser, if that is your intent, without shelling out alot of money! I have a k98 that has mismatched parts , but NOT the Russian Capture markings. That may be where you want to start. Even the example I have is becoming hard to find.

Are you a citizen? You have to be a citizen to own a gun. I have a all matching K98k my grandpa brought back but its staying with me. Try
        www.interordnance.com, www.centuryarms.com and www.gunboards.com.
Remember you got to read up on these guns, dont just shell out the bucks at the first thing you see, trust me I got burned this way. If you want I can email you everything I know about these beautiful peices of history. Good luck.

not true my friend.. some non citizens can own . I Have a C&R Ticket, my application was signed by my local police chief, the only stipulation is that you have to be an allowed resident (greencard holder for more than 3 years) and have the conditions lifted.

I'm technically still a citizen of the UK, still got a uk passport but have curios and relics ticket and i have lived in the US for going on 7 years now.. I have had my c&r book checked once by batf agents with no issues . This may be the case for PA, but thats how it worked for me.

          cheers

How cool, I didnt know that. Congrats on the C&R and coming here. Can you buy a handgun with that C&R?
