ppk with white grips

Hi everyone,I bought a 1941 eagle n model ppk with one piece white grips with the metal insert a long time ago. Anyone know the idea for replacement cost on the grips?I would like to find a white bottom mag,but Im probably out of luck.I got this gun cheap at a show with 2 mags and sholder holster. The gun itself is in 95% and is a good shooter.I sure would hate to break these grips, because I would not know where to replace them. Thanks for the help, and I will try to post pics.

I am confused whether you are searching for replacement white grip prices or standard brown grip prices to sub for your white grips. I would think a pair of white grips to be a $800 to $1000. Same for the white bottom for the magazine, as those were used for ivory grip presentation PPs and are desired to complete those presentation sets. Of course standard brown PPK grips are about $250 or so. Do you fear dropping the gun and breaking the white grips?

Hi,thanks for your reply.I have had this gun for awhile, and I do fear breaking the grips.I was considering getting rid of them, and getting standard grips.I like for my son to be able to have this gun on display in his room, but I am still wondering about replacement value of the grips.I like for my son to be able to have something special, that is why I asked.I bought the whole package pretty cheap, and I thought that maybe it would be better if I traded off the grips. Why are these grips so dang high? Are these not available?Thankyou for the help, and I am greatfull.

The white grips are more expensive because they were ordered specially for a PPK with a particular finish more elaborate than the standard production. The white grips were usually provided as a contrast to a nickle or golden finish. It is curious that your PPK has the white grips yet the brown finger extension. Perhaps it was ordered with your gun, but I doubt it. So if you want to leave something for your son, the white grips will decidedly gain more in value than the pistol itself. Though, I don't know if the grips will "display" that well in your son's room. I think the value I provided is pretty accurate. That is of course subject to inspection and authentication of the white grips as being factory Walther production.
