Ok, i can help a little. they also made g2940's in 1938 as i have 1938 dated receiver, this maybe also a older receiver used latter??? as i only have 1 in the a (A) block. all 1938 and 1939 with be lined out WZ or 98a receivers. your serail number font on the barrel should be the same as the receiver which it appears it is NOT, not good. the safety should have all 4 serial numbers present your only has 2, which is not good. It's to hard to see the bolt serial numbers. i would say this if a WaA214 bolt is present and it has NAZI fireproofs i would be suspicious as J.P and Sohn used Weimar until 1938, with your G29/40 being only a C block i would say if a armours pices it would have to be Weimar. in 1940 thus far all my observations have G2940 marked receivers with NO line outs and all have 660 and 1940 ONLY on top of the receiver. so far all parts have had WaA77, or WaA623 or E/77 or E/623 present no other WaA or E/?? have been reported or seen. its not much but it all i have
